Diablo Kennels…
All dogs that board at
Diablo Kennels must be current on Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordatella.
Proof of those vaccinations is required at check in.
Diablo Kennels feeds twice a day (unlike many to most kennels who
will charge you an extra fee for a 2nd feeding). We feed a quality
lamb or chicken and rice kibble, a meat source, and depending on how
many dogs are our guests, between 5 and 10 gallons of veggies, rice,
and garlic that is done daily.
The kennel is situated on an acre with a minimum 6’ fence that
surrounds the “compound”. We live on the premise, as does our
“Kennel Manager Jeff Hough” who has an apartment beneath our home.
Your pets receive 24-hour…constant attention while you are away. We
will do our best to treat “Yours”…as if they were “Ours”.
We also offer, “grooming at a reduced rate” when you board with us.
We do bath and brush outs or complete grooms. It is a service we
offer to “good customers”. We also do scheduled grooming on
virtually any breed. Our groomers have many, many years of
experience in grooming cuts and styles. Rates are available on
request. |

Details :Our boarding rates are computed by weight or
category and are as follows:
Dogs 0 to 30 lbs. are $16 per day
Dogs 31 to 60 lbs. are $18 per day
Dogs 61 and higher are $20 per day.
Cats and other small pets (including birds) are $12 per day.
There is a $1 per day per dose for all medication including insulin
shots. There is also a one time $5 “energy surcharge fee”. When PG &
E raised our rates 75% last year…we kept our per day rates the same.
