1. Always say your dog’s name 1^st before issuing any command.

2. Always make your training sessions “fun” for your dog or puppy.

3. Always work your dog ‘on lead’ when training.

4. Always end an obedience session on a positive note.

5. Always give your dog effusive praise when they ‘ do it right’.

1. Never train with treats. It ends up bribing the dog to be good.

2. Never call your dog to you…to correct it.

3. Never think any question, is too dumb to ask!

4. Never correct your dog ‘from the top’…always the bottom.

5. Never think your dog is human…it’s a dog, folks!
